Joan Montgomery - President - president@carryingplace.com 

Since 2019, Joan has served in a variety of positions such as Board Secretary, Nominating Committee Chair as well as Strategic Planning Committee Chair. Currently, Joan is serving as President and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, in what is year one of her final three years on the Board. She has brought to the Board a wealth of experience in non-profit and for-profit senior management.

Carl Glatt - Vice President

Carl has been golfing for over 60 years and has played in 13 countries. He has been a member at Carrying Place for almost 20 years and has been very involved in starting, organizing, and promoting events such as Men's Member Guest, Senior Ryder Cup, and most recently, the Scotiabank Wealth Pro-am. His career history was spent primarily at IBM in both sales and human resources. Carl has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Franco Vieni - Treasurer

A passion for golf, Franco joined Carrying Place in 2021 and immediately volunteered to join the Strategic Planning Committee which has led to key initiatives expanding the Carrying Place membership experience. In his first year as a board member he is currently serving as Treasurer. His experience in senior managerial roles, a passion and commitment for excellence, and mentorship will assist in elevating Carrying Place members, family and guest overall membership experiences.

Lee Perricone - Secretary

Lee has been a member of Carrying Place since 1989. Although retired, his professional background as a CPA has been extremely beneficial having served on the Board from 1993 - 2003 as well as 2019 to the present. He has also been an active member of the Finance Committee since 2015. He enjoys the access to the tee the club provides along with the many lifelong friendships he's established during his time as a member. 

Chris Brooksbank - Director 

Since joining Carrying Place in the fall of 2021 Chris has been actively involved. He has been an integral member of the Strategic Planning Committee and can often be found around the club, typically playing 3 times per week. He co-owns and operates a mechanical and electoral business with a fellow member, is a Master Electrician and has strong all around construction knowledge.

Franco Salemi - Director 

A previous member at Clublink for past 13 years, Frank served as Club Captain in combination with acting as Handicap Chair governing  both The Club At BondHead and The Country Club. He Currently serves as a member of the Golf & Greens  Committee at Carrying Place. 

When Frank is not practicing his golf skills on the course, he enjoys spending time with his family. He shares a beautiful life with his wife, two daughters and 2 grandchildren (soon to be 3). Professionally, Frank is a project manager in the Mechanical industry.

Stefano Morra - Director 

Stefano has been an active member since joining Carrying Place in the fall of 2019, serving on both the Finance and Strategic Planning Committees. Stefano is a Chartered Accountant and currently works in finance at Canada’s largest public Real Estate Investment Trust, overseeing multiple functions including Corporate FP&A, Treasury, and Capital Markets.
